Our series of Wild Book Talks at The Albatross goes from strength to strength, and we are delighted to announce that this Wednesday, author and illustrator, Beatrice Forshall will be talking about her book The Book of Vanishing Species:

This Wednesday we are in for a visual treat when artist Beatrice Forshall will be displaying some of her original work at The Albatross (and at the Bowie Gallery).
Beatrice will be taking about her artwork and her time at the Cambridge Conservation Initiative, that inspired the creation of her beautiful book, The Book of Vanishing Species

Beatrice Forshall is an artist whose work revolves around raising the awareness and love of nature. In 2018 she was artist in residence at the Cambridge Conservation Initiative (CCI), a pioneering collaboration between researchers, policymakers and practitioners focussed on transforming the global understanding and conservation of our natural world.

Beatrice shows us the world is more beautiful and more diverse than we can possibly conceive of – but also so vulnerable
